Periodically I will pull down a drawing or painting from the studio wall that isn't working and reimagine it through collage. This gives me a second chance at creating a great work of art and also allows me to see my work through a different lens. This piece is one such effort. I love the sharp edges that the medium of collage allows, featured prominently here. I also get the feeling that we are viewing some smooth, highly reflective alien structure. In its surface we might be catching glimpses of another world which would otherwise be outside of our view.

This item is a collage on warm gray Canson Mi Teintes paper. The materials used are paper, acrylic, charcoal, ballpoint pen, wax crayon, and colored pencil. There is a 1-inch border on the top and bottom of the image and a .25-inch image border on the sides to allow for framing. The front of the painting is signed. The back of the painting is dated and titled. A certificate of authenticity is included.

Framing is available in a simple, high-quality wood frame with a black, white, or natural finish. The frame will be wired for hanging. Please allow 1 week for processing of framed work.
