This original abstract painting, "Wafer", is part of my "Symmetry" Series. Along with "Salsa" it forms a pair of paintings based on a favorite sketch I made years ago. At its core is a rotational symmetry; I then improvise with the forms as the design emanates outward from the center. The title of the painting refers to a silicon wafer - a nod to my 12-year career as a designer of electronics.

The materials used are acrylic on canvas.

The sides of the painting are painted black. The back is signed, titled, and wired for hanging. A certificate of authenticity is included.
